I had a pleasant stay at Chems Hotel, mainly due to its fantastic location and the lovely garden. However, the rooms were quite dated and in need of some refurbishing. The breakfast options were limited, which was a letdown, but the helpful staff made up for some of the shortcomings.
Rooms
6.0
The room I stayed in had air conditioning and was kept clean, but it was quite dated and needed more lighting. I found the bathroom facilities basic, with an absence of an iron.
Service
7.0
The staff were friendly and very accommodating, always ready to assist with any request. Their willingness to help was appreciated, though some seemed less knowledgeable about the area.
Location
8.0
The hotel's location was excellent, very close to the medina and main attractions, allowing me to explore easily. It was definitely a highlight of my stay.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast was served by the pool, which created a lovely atmosphere. However, I was disappointed by the limited hot food options and the coffee quality.
Facilities

The hotel had nice facilities like a garden and a clean pool, but there were issues with the heating, and some other services like dry cleaning weren't functioning properly. I had trouble with the safe in my room as well.

7.4/10
I had a decent stay at Chems Hotel in Marrakesh. The location was fantastic, being very close to Jemaa el-Fna square, which made exploring the area really easy. The outdoor space and pool were lovely, providing a nice respite. However, the interior felt a bit worn and the breakfasts were quite basic, which dampened my overall experience and led me to give a more balanced rating.
Rooms
6.0
The room was very basic and a bit run down, not quite matching the pictures I saw online. However, it was clean and I did have a comfortable bed to sleep in.
Service
5.0
I found the service at the reception lacking; the staff seemed either overwhelmed or not very motivated. There was one friendly person and they were helpful with my requests, but overall, a friendlier atmosphere would have improved things.
Location
8.0
The hotel's location was one of its best features. It was just a short distance from the main square, and I felt safe walking back even as a solo female traveler. This aspect truly made my time enjoyable.
Dining
5.0
Dining options were very limited, and I was disappointed by the breakfast quality. It lacked fresh fruits or vegetables, which is a shame in Morocco. However, the outdoor dining area had a pleasant view.
Facilities
6.0
The hotel had a nice swimming pool and a garden, enhancing the outdoor experience. However, the facilities inside felt dated and included issues like dim lighting in hallways.

My stay at Chems Hotel was a mixed experience. I appreciated the cleanliness of my room and the proximity to the main attractions, which made exploring Marrakech easy. However, I faced several issues, such as inconsistent service, which impacted my overall enjoyment of the stay.
Rooms
5.0
The rooms were clean and simple, but lacked some amenities like a fridge, which would have been helpful in the heat. I requested a pool view room but ended up with a view of the parking lot instead.
Service
5.0
While some staff members were friendly, I encountered a few who were less accommodating and the communication could be confusing due to language barriers. It was frustrating when I needed assistance but felt dismissed instead.
Location
5.0
The hotel is excellently situated just a short walk from the main square and the local markets, which made it easy for me to experience the vibrant life of Marrakech.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast was a highlight, featuring fresh bread and friendly staff, although the selection could have been better. The dining area had a nice view but was sometimes crowded.
Facilities
5.0
The pool area was a nice place to relax, but the temperature of the pool was quite cold. I also appreciated the garden, which added a romantic touch to the ambiance.
